Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write efficient code and adhere to best practices.
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues to develop and deploy content within established timelines.
  • Research various software programs and maintain documentation.
  • Implement contingency plans for website outages.
  • Maintain and enhance existing websites.
  • Collaborate with the product team on design decisions.
  • Implement features based on designs and mock-ups.
  • Review code from other developers to ensure maintainability and prevent regressions.
  • Develop automated tests to ensure application reliability.
  • Optimize tools for an improved developer experience.
  • Create functional and appealing web and mobile applications.
  • Enforce code quality through documentation and bug resolution.
  • Write functional requirement documents and specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to adopt and utilize current web technologies.
  • Assist with coding and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies.
  • Promote best practices in usability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with web development skills, including REST APIs, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, serverless technology, debugging, basic graphic design, backend and databases, hosting services, libraries and frameworks, SEO, and CI pipelines such as GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility standards.
  • Proficiency in writing and automating unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Expertise in Git and version control systems.
  • Experience with modern web accessibility and ensuring compliance with ADA standards.
  • Thorough experience with UX and HCI methodologies and principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills).

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary & Benefits:

  • $100,000-$125,000 base salary, with an average starting midpoint of $115,000 based on experience.
  • Remote work flexibility.
