We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team at RieLes Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional care to hospitalized patients and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history and physical exams, to inform treatment plans.
- Manage patient admissions and ensure appropriate placement in the hospital, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, to inform treatment decisions.
- Coordinate treatment plans and administer necessary medications, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Discuss advanced care planning and end-of-life preferences with patients and their families, providing empathetic and compassionate support.
- Consult with specialists as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Proactively plan patient discharges and coordinate follow-up care, ensuring a smooth transition to outpatient care.
- Manage perioperative care and oversee critical/acute care settings, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Lead code and rapid response teams during emergencies, demonstrating leadership and critical thinking skills.
- Perform core procedures, such as thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, and abscess incision and drainage, with precision and attention to detail.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
- Experience in hospital care, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Proficiency in required medical skills and fluency in English.
- Ability to maintain Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements and provide proof to maintain privileges.
- Commitment to quality care improvement and patient safety.
