Job Title: Chinese Outreach Minister

International Friendships, Inc. (IFI) is a faith-based organization dedicated to extending life-changing hospitality and friendship to international college students. We are seeking a Chinese Outreach Minister to join our Central Ohio ministry team.

Job Summary

The Chinese Outreach Minister will play a vital role in serving international students from China, developing relationships, and training volunteers to serve these students. This position requires a shepherd's heart, spiritual maturity, and the ability to work under stress while being flexible.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships to support the role's budgeted needs.
  • Research and understand the needs of Chinese international students.
  • Minister to Chinese international students by establishing connections, developing Bible discussion groups, and discipling 3-4 Chinese students.
  • Recruit and train Christians to serve on a campus ministry team, including developing training and programs to effectively develop relationships with Chinese international students.
  • Connect with student associations and community groups.
Qualifications
  • Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies.
  • Faithful, loyal, and dedicated to IFI's mandate to extend life-changing hospitality and friendship to international students.
  • Well-organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently.
  • Has a shepherd's heart for Internationals, a teachable and submissive spirit, and spiritual maturity.
  • Ability to work under stress and be flexible.
  • Committed to sharing faith in the context of personal relationships and investing deeply in students' lives.
  • Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications.
