Job Summary:
Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Product Trainer Aircraft Fuels Systems Maintenance or Principal Product Trainer Aircraft Fuels Systems Maintenance to join our team in Melbourne, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for aircraft fuel systems maintenance, as well as supporting the development of instructional materials and evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops training curriculum, study outlines, and orientation materials for procedures-based maintenance training.
- Supports the development of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
- Revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and maintain updated technical information.
- Provides input to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
- Demonstrates and uses effective training analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills.
- Develops instructional materials, including self-paced guides, case studies, job aids, evaluations, scenario-based course outlines, and training materials, such as classroom materials, instructor guides, student manuals, workbooks, and related materials.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts to identify specific training needs and develop solutions for satisfying unique skills-based training requirements.
- Creates and analyzes assessments to evaluate learning effectiveness and instructional improvement opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with 2 years of experience in courseware development, instruction, or industry training content development, or Master's Degree with 0 years of experience, or 6 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- 2 or more years of experience with hands-on aircraft fuel system specialty maintenance.
- 2 or more years of aircraft fuels maintenance classroom instruction and course development at a Field Training Detachment.
- Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
- Must have working knowledge of customer compliance documents, government instructions, and government standards.
- Must have familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with 3+ years of experience in courseware development, instruction, or industry training content development, or Master's Degree with 1 year of experience in the same, or 7 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- 6 or more years of experience in courseware development, instruction, or industry training content development.
- Active, In-Scope, DOD Secret Security Clearance or higher that has been granted/renewed within the past 6 years.
- Special Program Access.
- Background with bomber fuel systems.
- Able to interpret schematic drawings and technical publications.
- Experience inspecting, operating, troubleshooting, removing, repairing, overhauling, and installing aircraft hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components on heavy or fighter airframes.
- Capable of performing operational tests on aircraft components determining condition, analyzing performance, and isolating malfunctions.
- Basic understanding of Agile processes.
- Design and development of curriculum for advanced technologies.
- Experience using courseware development tools – LCMS and LMS.
Salary Range: $56,600 - $85,000
Salary Range 2: $69,600 - $104,400
