ROLE SUMMARY:
Felix Construction Company is in search of skilled Project Managers to oversee project teams on various small to medium-scale water and wastewater treatment initiatives across the Dallas metropolitan area, with project values ranging from $250k to $20M. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate closely with clients, general contractors, site supervisors, safety managers, field staff, estimators, and fellow project managers.
- Coordinate with superintendents and quality assurance teams to effectively manage material and work schedules, as well as procurement of job materials and equipment.
- Prepare AutoCAD installation drawing packages for the field team.
- Generate project billings, budgets, and purchase orders.
- Handle change order requests and associated project documentation.
- Ensure accurate and effective submittals are completed.
- Compile and review operations and maintenance manuals.
- Create logical and sequential project timelines using Microsoft Project.
- Monitor and maintain project schedules and financial plans.
- Represent the organization in a professional capacity.
- Work from the Felix Construction office while conducting regular site visits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or mechanical engineering is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the water/wastewater construction sector is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam is essential.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Ability to interpret plans and specifications for various disciplines within typical water/wastewater projects.
- Experience with Alternative Procurement Delivery Methods (APDM) is highly valued (CSP, CMAR, D-B, JOC, etc.).
- Demonstrated initiative and capability to manage ambiguity effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
- Must have the legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
