Job Summary:

Halff Associates is seeking a Senior Professional Civil Engineer to lead Large-scale Infrastructure Design Projects in our Richardson or Fort Worth, TX offices. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the willingness and ability to strengthen and develop relationships with clients, junior engineers, and technical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Project management for the design of infrastructure projects
Client engagement through meetings, correspondence, technical writing, and presentations
Staff management and project task delegation
Collaboration with project-delivery teams and staff development

Requirements:

Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with PE license in Texas
10+ years of progressive experience in managing infrastructure projects
Municipal, state, and/or federal client experience
Complete project lifecycle experience including project pursuits, project scoping, planning, budgeting, management, design phase, construction phase, and project close-out

Desired Skills:

Critical thinking to solve design and management issues associated with infrastructure projects
Project management experience delivering infrastructure projects with a construction value greater than $25 million
Accountability for successful completion of tasks
Resource allocation and staff management
Communication and collaboration skills to develop junior staff skills and provide mentorship
Strong technical writing skills
QA/QC implementation
Ability to monitor/adjust effort to meet schedule and budget requirements
Experience working with cities and agencies in the DFW Metroplex
