Key Responsibilities
  1. Communication Management: Drafts correspondence and independently generates various communications, including emails and record requests, utilizing appropriate software and media.
  2. Patient Chart Preparation: Assembles patient charts for clinic visits by collecting necessary documentation, updating electronic medical records (EMR), and ensuring timely communication of any changes to involved parties.
  3. Patient Support: Assists patients and families with inquiries related to hospital services and genetic referrals, managing incoming calls and emails effectively.
  4. Administrative Coordination: Provides comprehensive administrative support to the department, organizing clinic workflows and communications, including phone management, email correspondence, and file maintenance to optimize clinic efficiency.
  5. Medical Scribing: Functions as a medical scribe during patient consultations, documenting the practitioner’s dictated patient history, physical examination findings, and laboratory results, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
  6. Miscellaneous Duties: Performs additional job-related tasks as assigned to support the department's objectives.
