**Job Summary**

The Marcus Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Barista to join our team. As a key member of our coffee shop team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and driving sales growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Supervise and train baristas to ensure high-quality beverages and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage inventory, maintain par stock levels, and control costs to ensure profitability.
  • Utilize point-of-sale systems to accurately process transactions, track revenue, and analyze sales data.
  • Implement and maintain housekeeping, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in all areas of the coffee shop.
  • Develop and execute sales promotion programs and employee sales incentive programs.
  • Stay up-to-date on local events and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of all assigned associates and departmental responsibilities.
  • Support company policies and procedures.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous restaurant and hospitality experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend English language, including guest requests, memos, and reservations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
