Job Opportunity

Sustainable Talent Limited Liability Company is partnering with a leading global organization in clinical diagnostics, environmental, food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics testing, as well as agro-sciences CRO services, to expand their team.

This position is based in Philadelphia, PA, and is a direct hire Laboratory Technologist 2 role. The compensation package includes a competitive hourly rate of $26-30, based on experience. We are seeking technologists with 3-5 years of experience in testing within a professional setting, with a preference for HLA testing experience.

Work Schedule:

  • 1st shift: 8am- 6:30pm with rotating weekends
  • 2nd Shift: 3p-1:30a with rotating weekends
  • 3rd shift: 10p-8:30a with rotating weekends

We also have a 3rd shift opening for Lead Laboratory Technologist in this lab, with a competitive hourly rate of $30-38, and a preference for HLA experience and 5+ years of lab testing experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing tests within laboratory specialties, following prescribed procedures, and calculating results.
  • Operating, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory analyzers and equipment.
  • Recognizing and correcting basic analyzer malfunctions and notifying management personnel when necessary.
  • Preparing reagents or media from prescribed procedures.
  • Evaluating media, reagents, and calibrators according to established criteria.
  • Conducting quality control procedures on analytical tests, equipment, reagents, media, and products.
  • Evaluating results of quality control and implementing corrective action when indicated.
  • Determining performance specifications for new methods.
  • Confirming and verifying results through knowledge of techniques, principles, and analyzers.
  • Monitoring quality assurance/continuous improvement programs.
  • Monitoring safety programs in compliance with laboratory regulations.
  • Utilizing laboratory information systems to accurately and effectively report patient results.
  • Writing laboratory procedures conforming to standardized format.
  • Reporting test results conforming to established procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
