POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Junior Proxy Voting Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the proxy flow for our clients, ensuring that their votes are accurately and efficiently processed. This role involves collaboration with clients, internal teams, and external proxy distributors to maintain the integrity of the voting process. You will act as a key point of contact for clients regarding any proxy-related inquiries and will monitor our internal voting systems to ensure optimal functionality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enhance and manage processes that safeguard critical data for proxy voting and distribution services.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource regarding proxy processes and custodian-specific matters.
  • Represent ISS during client meetings, including due diligence and issue resolution discussions.
  • Collaborate with clients and custodians to address inquiries and ensure effective problem resolution related to proxy flow and account setups.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze production and timeliness reports to implement ongoing process improvements and internal controls.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators essential for achieving team objectives.
  • Promote teamwork and professional development through cross-functional initiatives.
  • Engage in the annual client renewal process through comprehensive account and process evaluations.
  • Maintain data integrity using proprietary and standard business software applications.
  • Coordinate with account managers to ensure timely and high-quality client data submission.
  • Ensure robust audit trails for data transactions related to production systems.
  • Develop and monitor quality control metrics to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Assist in creating training materials and standard operating procedures to support team growth.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
  • Proficient in office software applications.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven project management skills, including scope definition and resource management.
