Position Overview
The ISS Voting Operations team is looking for a dedicated Analyst to join the ISS Control & Audit Team (CAT).

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing process efficiency and ensuring quality control across various segments of the ISS Governance business, particularly focusing on the workflow for the Vote Disclosure Service (VDS).


Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Vote Disclosure Service and N-PX workflow processes.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks within the Voting Business.

• Continuously refine process controls related to ballot/vote processing, account management, N-PX delivery, and other essential areas to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the Voting and Global Proxy Distribution products.

• Develop a comprehensive Controls and Audit Manual to be published online, updating it quarterly and ensuring distribution to all relevant business units.

• Successfully execute SSAE 18 / ISAE 3402 type two audits annually.

• Educate business and account management teams on the significance of risk in their operations and its influence on overall success.

Daily Responsibilities
• Provide operational support for the Vote Disclosure Service and N-PX workflow.
• Act as the control and audit authority for a designated area of audit responsibility within Voting Operations.
• Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc non-production audits, ensuring results are communicated to the appropriate business teams.

• Oversee the control weakness reports process, conducting root cause analysis of control failures, implementing interim solutions, and defining long-term strategies to mitigate risks.

• Write and maintain sections of the Controls and Audit Manual with a focus on ongoing risk mitigation and process enhancement.

• Prepare and present findings to business leaders, including the creation of PowerPoint presentations.
• Provide subject matter expertise during pre-sales, upselling, onboarding, and ongoing client support activities.
• Drive the implementation of process improvements in collaboration with business and operations teams.

• Regularly brief Client Services, Consultants, Voting Business, and Research staff on critical findings, key process enhancements, and other pertinent topics.

• Conduct quarterly audits of Controls for one or more Voting Operations teams, validating data and executing the teams' workload reports.

• Assist teams in ensuring all necessary audits/reports are in place to address risks and that all audits/reports successfully pass scheduled reviews.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree.
• Previous experience in ISS Operations is advantageous.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in office applications and strong computer skills.
• Ability to create and utilize SQL queries for troubleshooting is a plus.
• Team-oriented with excellent relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven project management skills, including defining scope, resources, and timelines, and managing deliverables.
• Innovative, motivated, client-focused, and commercially aware thinker.
