Position Overview:


A successful Sales Floor Specialist will aim to deliver exceptional customer service, embodying the standard of excellence at Duluth Trading Company.

This involves treating customers with respect and seeking opportunities to exceed their expectations, creating memorable shopping experiences.

Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of the Duluth brand and extensive product knowledge to offer friendly, solution-oriented service to customers. Recognize that the customer is at the heart of our operations.
Incorporate personalized service into every interaction, from the initial greeting to the fitting room and checkout.
Effectively communicate ongoing sales and promotional offers.
Understand the significance of capturing customer emails as part of our service and sales strategy, executing this to the highest standard.
Proactively address customer concerns and be empowered to provide positive resolutions.

Answer phone calls in a polite and friendly manner, which includes providing store greetings, directions, and assisting with customer orders.

Assist with receiving, processing, and restocking merchandise.
Maintain visual merchandising, presentation, and display standards, ensuring the sales floor is always ready for customers.
Uphold company cleanliness standards for the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap, and hospitality areas.
Accurately and efficiently handle all register transactions.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Customer-focused attitude.
Demonstrates pride in work and ownership of store responsibilities.
Acts with integrity and trustworthiness.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

Environmental Considerations:
Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods, up to eight hours daily.
Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting motions are required.
Regular use of repetitive hand and finger motions, along with reaching with hands and arms.
Ability to lift up to twenty pounds frequently, and occasionally up to forty pounds. Push/pull up to twenty pounds.
Capability to climb ladders and reach or bend as necessary.
Work in varying temperatures, particularly in stockroom areas.
Utilize a computer for up to 60% of the workday.

Compensation:
$ /hour


Compensation is determined by various factors, including education, work experience, certifications, and compliance with federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
