Job Description

Fluor is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager III to join our team. As a Project Manager III, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of small to medium-sized projects, ensuring timely completion, quality, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project execution plans, ensuring compliance with Fluor's Operating System Requirements (OSR) and contract obligations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols are followed throughout all project phases.
  • Verify project requirements for Baseline Centric Execution, safety, quality, cost, and productivity are met in all locations managed by Fluor.
  • Draft and verify project baselines, ensuring they are fully documented, updated, and communicated to the project team as appropriate.
  • Support the Project Director in delivering projects in accordance with project execution and commercial baselines.
Requirements:
  • Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in an applicable field of study and eight years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal twelve years if non-degreed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Jobsite experience and understanding of construction safety programs.
  • Requires six years of experience as a project engineer or project specialist, or a project role of significant capacity such as project controls lead, contracts lead, etc. including one field assignment, plus three years experience as a design or construction engineer on projects.
  • Project or area management experience in international locations and diverse cultural environments is recommended.
  • Demonstration of successful performance as a Project Manager on a minimum of two small to medium-sized projects or in significant positions on large to very large-sized engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM) projects.
