Project Manager

Gaylor Electric is seeking a highly skilled Project Executive to oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion and profitability.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to ensure their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including electricians, subcontractors, and support staff, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that electrical installations comply with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, proactively addressing any issues that may arise during project execution.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop project budgets, monitor expenses, and track financial performance to ensure projects remain profitable.
- Procurement: Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all project personnel, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and other relevant records.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in project management within the electrical contracting industry, with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Experience managing large-scale data-center and mission-critical projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
