Job Summary

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in a defined outpatient clinic specialty setting. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing radiology services to patients of various ages, demonstrating ability to recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs, and initiating appropriate emergency procedures as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of routine and skilled radiology tests, diagnostic tests, or procedures to patients of all ages.
  • Maintain supply inventory and report pertinent results to patients and healthcare team members.
  • Responsible for quality control, ensuring that levels are maintained throughout the entire testing process from initial quality control through test analysis and reporting of test results.
  • Responsible for reporting technical problems and ensuring that remedial actions are taken whenever tests deviate from established performance specifications.
Requirements
  • Must maintain State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology.
  • Knowledge of Radiographic theory and techniques, clinic policies and procedures, and principles of anatomy.
  • Work requires extensive technical or specialized training, such as completion of AMA-approved two-year training program in radiologic technology and AART-certified.
  • Clinic/Physician office experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
