Job Summary

Summa Health System is seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist II to join our Radiation Oncology team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive treatment plans for radiation oncology patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with medical directors, radiation oncologists, and medical physicists to develop and implement treatment plans that maximize tumor dose while minimizing damage to surrounding tissues.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of dosimetry procedures and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Work closely with the dosimetry team to distribute work assignments and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Provide excellent communication and collaboration with clinical teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest radiation oncology treatment technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or equivalent education requirement per MDCB guidelines for certification exam eligibility.
  • Active Certification by Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB).
  • One (1) year of active clinical experience as a medical dosimetrist.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in planning/imaging/information management systems.
Working Conditions

This is a per diem (PRN) position with a variable schedule. The salary range for this position is $72.00/hr - $72.00/hr.
