Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a Medical Dosimetrist, you will play a critical role in the preparation, documentation, and quality assurance of individualized IMRT treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct examinations using diagnostic equipment and determine equipment settings for each procedure.
  • Perform and calculate radiation dose and location, as well as energy level of the beam.
  • Present isodose plans in detail with OARs and target volume doses to the Radiation Oncologist.
  • Plan and produce molds, casts, and other immobilization devices.
  • Monitor and record radiation treatment.
  • Create and maintain records of treatment plans and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in Dosimetry or a relevant area.
  • Certification in Medical Dosimetry by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in Dosimetry or a relevant area.
  • Certification in CMD or ARRT Radiation Therapy and BLS.
