Position Overview

Applewood is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide culturally competent nursing care to assigned patients, adhering to ANA standards, the NJ Practice Act, Joint Commission guidelines, and established hospital and Nursing Department policies and procedures, all in line with evidence-based nursing practices. The RN will employ the Nursing process to deliver patient-centered care and assess the effectiveness of nursing interventions through the evaluation of nurse-sensitive indicators and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Participate in continuous education and training programs.
Required Qualifications
  • RN License in New Jersey is mandatory.
  • BLS Certification is essential.
  • ACLS Certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.
  • CSMC IV Certification is required within the first year.
  • Chemotherapy Certification must be completed within four weeks.
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) designation is preferred.
  • Previous experience in infusion therapy is advantageous.
  • Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with the healthcare team.
