Radiologic Technologist Operating Room Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Operating Room (OR) team in Temple, TX. The ideal candidate must live within 30 minutes of the facility. You will perform high-quality intraoperative imaging procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients while maintaining strict adherence to protocols and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Surgical Preparation: Discuss any special needs with the surgeon before surgery, and prepare instruments and the operating room in a timely manner.
- Patient and Equipment Preparation: Position patients and equipment correctly, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety requirements, infection control policies, and radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including patient history, procedural details, and equipment use, following all department policies.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the process.
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
- Certification/License: ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required.
