We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our team at Duke Health Integrated Practice. As a Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, ob-gyn, vascular, infant head/hip/spine, and interventional procedures.
- Analyze sonograms, synthesize sonographic information and medical history, and communicate findings to the Physician.
- Use independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings.
- Actively engage in continuing education and educational pursuits to improve quality, safety, and overall services to patients.
- Manage patient flow processes in the most efficient manner possible to accommodate providers and patient.
- Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification or currently holds required registry or certification.
- BLS required.
- Level I - Must obtain ARDMS certifications as required by each entity within 18 months of employment.
- Level II - Minimum of two years' experience as a Sonographer.
