Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at TotalMed Staffing, you will play a critical role in performing echocardiograms using specialized ultrasound equipment. Your expertise will ensure accurate imaging and timely results, collaborating with the team for efficient workflow and patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform echocardiograms using advanced ultrasound technology to assess cardiac function and structure.
Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot issues, and adhere to safety protocols.
Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
Document procedure details, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

RDCS certification
BLS certification
2 years of recent experience as an Echo Tech
Strong communication and adaptability skills
