We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Risk Acceptance and Escalations to join our team at Selby Jennings. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing US Escalations and Risk Acceptance programs, as well as creating and refining policies, standards, and training materials for effective program implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Enterprise and Lines of Business to ensure alignment and effective program implementation.
- Monitor adherence to policies and standards, providing periodic reports to senior management.
- Analyze portfolios of risk acceptances and escalations to identify trends and report findings.
- Support internal audits and requests for information from stakeholders.
- Assist in creating presentations for management and formal reviews.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in controls, audit or finance
- Knowledge of enterprise, operational, market or credit risk
- Experience with strategic planning or strategic risk oversight
