Quantitative Risk Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Risk Director to join our team at DTCC. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and support of models and methodologies for the quantification of risk.
The Quantitative Risk Management Team (QRM) carries out quantitative analysis and other analytical support to firms' risk management and other business needs.
As a Quantitative Risk Director, you will be the leading subject expert of fixed income risk model and methodology. You will conduct quantitative research/analysis related to fixed income model development, maintenance, and performance monitoring.
You will also conduct quantitative risk analysis to support other business units and the regulatory supervisors. Additionally, you will build and maintain model prototypes for model development, facilitate model risk management activities, and facilitate model specification and model engine test with Risk Technology team.
Mitigating risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior are essential responsibilities of this role.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 10 years of experience in fixed income and/or market risk modeling. A Master's degree in the quantitative discipline is required, and a Ph.D. is preferred.
Strong knowledge in fixed income securities, including Treasury, Agency, and Mortgage securities, is essential. Extensive experience in fixed income model development and model performance monitoring is also required.
Hands-on programming skills in SQL and other high-level programming languages such as Python are necessary. Extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as model validation, IT development, and risk managers is also required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and extensive experience working with regulatory authorities are essential for this role.

DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a third day unique to each team or employee).
