- Update and verify prescriptions as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer support both in-person and via phone.
- Welcome and check in patients upon arrival.
- Coordinate new patient intake processes.
- Handle phone calls and correspondence, including emails and letters.
- Facilitate schedule adjustments as required.
- Verify insurance benefits with various carriers.
- Discuss insurance coverage and financial responsibilities with caregivers of new patients.
- Understand and educate families about available funding options.
- Assist families in applying for these funding opportunities.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A collaborative spirit and ability to build relationships.
- Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team.
- A results-driven and self-motivated attitude.
- Familiarity with EMR systems.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills when interacting with patients and colleagues.
- Exceptional customer service skills to engage with patients positively.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems is required.
- Proficient computer usage is essential.
This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday.
EducationA High School Diploma or GED is required.
