Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
- Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication orders.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and medication inventory.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on pharmacy practices and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with counting and measuring medications.
