Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Professional to join our team at Ommtulsa. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and efficient food service to members
  • Set and/or reset dining room tables for service using proper techniques
  • Prepare for the day and/or evening meal service
  • Perform closing tasks to ensure the workspace is clean after service has been concluded
  • Interact positively with and provide support to other staff
  • Use the Point of Sale system to take and tender orders
  • Use the Daily Side Work Check List to accurately record completion of daily work assignments

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent or currently attending high school preferred
  • Minimum of one year's experience in food service preferred
  • Current Tulsa County Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and people skills
  • Point-of-sale system experience preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

Performance and Professionalism:

  • Maintain professional presence when representing Ommtulsa
  • Exhibit degree of professionalism consistent with standards in performance, behavior, and appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy at all times according to policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate courteous and cooperative behavior with members, families, co-workers, subordinates, supervisors, and other department staff
  • Maintain positive working relationships with management and co-workers
  • Exhibit professional standards through appearance and demeanor
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of work assignments and perform in a manner to meet quality and timeliness objectives
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures
  • Use tactful, diplomatic communication techniques in all relations with others
