Chamber Server

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and attentive Chamber Server to join our team at Greenwood Hospitality. As a Chamber Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders from restaurant customers and serve the orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Memorize menu items, recipes, and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations to customers.
• Present a clean and professional appearance at all times.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
• Provide assistance to other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and the hotel.

Requirements

• Must have experience in customer service principles, the food server function, and restaurant and kitchen operations.
• Must have vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks, computer printouts, written instructions, and to observe the entire restaurant in dimly lit conditions.
• Must have manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and to balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages.
• Must have ability to perform multiple tasks at one time, must be able to follow verbal and written instruction, and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Must be highly organized and able to pay attention to sound and sight details in crowded and noisy situations, particularly when handling multiple tasks.
• Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.

Work Environment

The Chamber Server will work in a fast-paced, physically strenuous environment, with prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and carrying throughout the entire shift.
