Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling high-precision electromechanical components by interpreting technical diagrams and specifications. Utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments, you will work in a prototype engineering setting to create complex assemblies from raw materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble cables and electrical connectors into intricate assemblies, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while assembling optical-electrical and opto-mechanical systems.
  • Operate testing equipment and accurately document results following established templates and standard operating procedures.
  • Repair and rework assemblies to meet operational tolerances and quality standards.
  • Verify dimensions and clearances of components using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
  • Create parts kits and maintain tracking data, including serial and part numbers, to streamline the assembly process.
  • Assist in managing inventory by organizing components, subassemblies, and finished products.
  • Follow all relevant manufacturing documentation throughout the assembly and testing phases.

Essential Skills
  • Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly within a clean room environment, focusing on raw components.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to effectively use small power tools and hand tools.

This is a contract position.

Work Environment

This role requires on-site presence, collaborating with a team of engineers and specialists.
