Job Summary

Catholic Charities and Community Services seeks a highly skilled Senior Property Accounting Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and donor processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and code regular entries for distribution to accounts
  • Audit disbursement vouchers, debit and credit memos, donor records, and other financial documents
  • Review, post, and balance subsidiary ledgers
  • Assist in preparing, adjusting, and closing journal entries
  • Prepare account reconciliations
  • May coordinate the agency's vehicle donation program, assist in policy and procedure development, and/or assist the Controller or Chief Financial Officer with other special projects or miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Practical knowledge of agency accounting policy, government regulations, and tax requirements
  • Detail-oriented and organized, flexible and willing to shift priorities as needed
  • Intermediate skills in Excel and accounting software/database for entering data, creating and generating reports, and data analysis
  • Organized and able to work with little supervision
