Maintenance Technician Opportunity

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a blend of electrical and mechanical expertise to join our team in Durham, NC.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and hardwire to prints to identify and resolve issues.
  • Utilize test equipment such as multimeters, amp probes, and data recorders to troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose problems.
  • Plan and install various electrical equipment, including control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, and switches to meet production needs.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems from 120Vac single-phase to 480Vac three-phase, as well as DC motors and control systems from 24Vdc to 120Vac to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Work with pneumatic systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize production processes.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, schematics, pneumatics, VFDs, and PLCs to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics to understand system designs and identify potential problems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems using test equipment to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Knowledge and experience in planning and installing electrical equipment to meet production needs.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting 120Vac single-phase to 480Vac three-phase electrical systems, as well as DC motors and control systems from 24Vdc to 120Vac to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with production equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Facilities maintenance experience is a plus to demonstrate versatility and adaptability.
Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
