Key Responsibilities

The Senior Instructor / Instructional Design is responsible for developing training materials and delivering comprehensive training on all aspects of V2X products, policies, and procedures to both field and office personnel through various instructional methods including lectures, hands-on activities, training manuals, and reference resources.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Conducting training sessions on all V2X Intrusion Detection Software and Hardware
  • Facilitating training on all V2X Access Control Software and Hardware
  • Delivering training on all V2X Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Hardware and Software
  • Providing training on V2X Video Management Hardware and Software
  • Instructing on V2X Employee Security policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with Human Resources to design and implement onboarding experiences for new hires
  • Creating and delivering training on the design, installation, and maintenance of secure networks
  • Developing engaging learning activities and compelling course content for both in-person and remote training
  • Working with subject matter experts to assess the training needs of the target audience
  • Establishing instructional objectives and creating relevant content
  • Researching and applying trends and best practices in instructional design and learning technologies
  • Providing exercises and activities that enhance the learning experience
  • Creating supporting materials/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.)
  • Designing assessment methods, such as tests or quizzes, to evaluate course effectiveness
  • Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical training role focusing on software and networking technologies
  • Expertise in technical competencies and hands-on experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • At least 5 years of experience in instructional design
  • Thorough understanding of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Skills in lesson and curriculum planning
  • Ability to create effective instructional materials, including text, audio, and video scripts
  • Demonstrated self-reliance, initiative, and creativity
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to flexible hours as necessary
  • Capability to work independently in a team-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with Cisco Networking and secure network systems
