Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing set processes and protocols, working cooperatively with the care team to support the organization's vision and mission, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and conduct check-in process
  • Obtain accurate and updated patient information
  • Perform insurance verification on the date of service
  • Obtain patient signatures for required documents
  • Confirm and schedule appointments
  • Follow the Cash Security policy and procedures
  • Perform referral documentation promptly
  • Provide effective communication to patient/family team members and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of customer service or healthcare-related experience
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency
