Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team at Interstate Therapy Solutions. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to athletes and active individuals in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide coverage during practices and events at local high schools, ensuring the safety and well-being of athletes.
  • Assess and treat emergency, acute, and chronic injuries in accordance with best practices and protocols.
  • Develop and implement reconditioning programs to help athletes and active individuals recover from injuries and prevent recurrence.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with area schools and industries to provide offsite outreach specialty programs.
  • Act as a liaison between the hospital, athletes, parents, coaches, school administration, and supervising physician, coordinating care and referrals as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for athletes and active individuals.

Certification and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited CAATE program.
  • Current BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
  • 1 year of experience in the high school or college setting preferred.
