Salesforce Administration Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Administration Team Lead to join our team at Equity Trust. As a key member of our Salesforce team, you will be responsible for leading our Salesforce administrators to ensure the continuous improvement and enhancement of the Salesforce platform for our internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Salesforce administrators to accomplish departmental responsibilities and goals
  • Manage and delegate Salesforce work to accomplish business objectives
  • Hire, train, motivate, and coach other Salesforce administrators, assessing performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities
  • Manage Salesforce configuration changes, including flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
  • Manage roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules
  • Improve Salesforce data quality by implementing rules and automation as needed
  • Manage sandbox environments
  • DevOps/release management experience
  • Integrate with the development team to handle the administrative side of custom code deployments
  • Perform proactive system maintenance, including security reviews, release updates, health checks, and optimizer
  • Test changes and new features from internal developers and other administrators as well as external partners
  • Research and stay up-to-date on best practices for Salesforce and new features
  • Work with integrated applications, including DocuSign, Formstack Documents, DevOps tools, and Marketing Cloud
  • Configure and manage Financial Service Cloud
  • Manage Marketing Cloud
  • Work closely with other Salesforce administrators to avoid conflicts and breaking changes
  • Craft technical documentation
  • Teach best practices enthusiastically

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with hands-on business Salesforce administration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading a team
  • Solid understanding of the financial services industry
  • Agile Scrum experience preferred

Professional Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certifications, Trailhead Mountaineer or higher, strongly preferred

Tech Skills:

  • Salesforce Certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administer, Platform App Builder), Trailhead Mountaineer or higher, or demonstrated expertise configuring complex solutions within Salesforce
