Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at LabCorp. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and processing them for testing. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Process blood samples for testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and storing
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and specimen collection
  • Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to ensure smooth specimen processing
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred)
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
