Key Responsibilities:

New Client Acquisition:

  • Actively pursue and cultivate a robust pipeline of new business, concentrating on dealer networks and project opportunities.
  • Collaborate with builder and contractor clients to drive demand for dealer customers.
  • Present innovative and complementary products to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Formulate and execute strategies aimed at enhancing market penetration of our offerings.
  • Implement and promote company initiatives and campaigns effectively.
  • Identify and develop new business prospects and opportunities.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Safeguard and enhance existing dealer partnerships.
  • Educate dealer sales teams on product features and effective sales techniques.
  • Provide merchandising assistance to the dealer network.
  • Address and resolve any customer inquiries or issues promptly.
  • Organize and participate in trade exhibitions.
  • Foster ongoing relationships through exceptional customer service and product support.

Qualifications:

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent customer service abilities, both in-person and virtually.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Proficient in delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including presentation tools.
  • Strong closing capabilities and diligent follow-up on commitments.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned region as necessary.
  • Solid analytical skills to identify and evaluate market, customer, and competitive trends.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing sales role within the building products sector.
  • Proven experience in addressing and resolving customer concerns.
  • Background in direct sales interactions.
  • Understanding of the building installation process.

Work Environment:

  • Predominantly in-market (85% of the time) with a focus on customer engagement.
  • Ability to respond to urgent customer requests.
