This position entails the meticulous preparation of a variety of dishes as outlined in the menus, utilizing various cooking methods such as grilling, frying, broiling, baking, boiling, braising, poaching, and pantry preparations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, positively influencing interactions with guests and team members, while demonstrating resilience in managing challenging customer situations.
  • Prepare dishes using diverse cooking techniques, ensuring that all presentations are visually appealing and meet the specifications set by both the customer and the culinary team.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of various sauces and their appropriate application on all entrees featured on the daily menus.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the work area, reporting any safety hazards, equipment failures, or accidents promptly.
  • Properly store food items, including those from previous events.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels and ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning properly.
  • Effectively close down work stations at the end of shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Fundamental knowledge of food preparation and experience in line cooking.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications in accordance with Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.

This role typically requires a minimum of one year of prior experience as a cook trainee or in a similar culinary position, or completion of a culinary arts degree or recognized apprenticeship.
