Grill Cook Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Bob Evans Restaurants. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare each order by following company recipes, carryout procedures, and plating standards
  • Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Prepare visually appealing meals, delivering hot and fresh meals to our guests
  • Follow recipe and storyboard guidelines to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, and other foods
  • Work with approved cooking equipment and cooking methods to deliver high-quality meals
  • Practice and uphold health and sanitation standards
  • Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene
  • Understand and comply with our standard portion sizes, quality standards, and kitchen rules
  • Prioritize food preparation to ensure all items are finished at the same time
  • Properly maintain and operate equipment, with a working knowledge of safe and efficient use
Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period
