Position Overview:
The Stadium Cook plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to both internal and external guests by adhering to the Art of Brilliance standards. This position entails the meticulous preparation of a variety of dishes as specified on the menus, utilizing various cooking methods such as grilling, frying, broiling, baking, boiling, braising, poaching, and pantry preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, positively influencing interactions with patrons and colleagues, while demonstrating resilience in challenging situations.
  • Prepare a diverse range of foods, ensuring that all dishes are visually appealing and cooked to the exact specifications of both the customer and the culinary team.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of various sauces and their appropriate application on entrees featured on daily menus.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Uphold cleanliness standards in the work area; report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Ensure proper storage of food items, including leftovers from previous events.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that kitchen equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Follow proper procedures for closing down work stations at the end of shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Fundamental knowledge of food preparation and experience in line cooking.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications in accordance with Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.

These qualifications are typically gained through a minimum of one year of experience as a cook trainee or in a similar culinary role, or through the completion of a culinary arts degree or recognized apprenticeship.
