Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Fluid Systems Engineer I/II to join our pioneering team. As a critical member of our Fluid System team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, testing, and launching critical flight fluids hardware for Neutron. You'll work with a global team to manage requirements, deliver functional hardware on time, and fly a vehicle for the first time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, and launch critical flight fluids hardware
  • Work with a global team to manage requirements and deliver functional hardware on time
  • Utilize fluid fundamentals to complete analysis, from hand calcs to advanced simulation tools
  • Coordinate with vendors, manufacturing teams, and facilities groups to purchase and fabricate key subsystems
  • Plan and run critical system tests
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related fields
  • Strong engineering fundamentals in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics
  • A strong desire to learn
  • For Fluid Systems Engineer II: 2+ years experience designing, building, and operating complex fluid systems

Base Pay Range (CA Only): $87,300—$109,100 USD
