The successful candidate will have experience in analysis, design, and consulting support, as well as developing an understanding of our clients' strategic direction, issues, and project goals. They will be able to bridge the gap between user-functionality and system developers and assist in documenting, evaluating, and translating business architectures and needs into IT applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consulting methodologies within the financial services/energy industry, including strategy work, business case development, process mapping, and project implementation. They will also have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis, design, and consulting support
  • Developing an understanding of clients' strategic direction, issues, and project goals
  • Bridging the gap between user-functionality and system developers
  • Documenting, evaluating, and translating business architectures and needs into IT applications
  • Developing and evaluating procedures, controls, user requirements, and functional specifications
  • Documenting and explaining problems and working to resolve software defects
  • Conducting customer interviews and producing meeting summaries
  • Conducting market/client research and industry analysis of requirements
  • Producing high-quality verbal and written consulting deliverables

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience with the implementation of Allegro
  • Experience configuring and extending Allegro to match requirements
  • Background in Energy/Utilities is a plus
  • Solid Business Analyst skills, including experience interviewing clients to gather and document business requirements
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide user support
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Extensive experience writing successful project proposals
  • Project management skills/experience
