Job Summary:

The Patient Access Service Representative plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences. This individual will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and providing outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively greet patients and visitors, creating a positive and friendly experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, handling patient paperwork, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient communication.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of patient needs, preferences, and concerns to provide personalized support.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and EpicCare a plus.
