**Job Overview**

We're seeking an experienced Factory-Built Substation (FBS) Technician to join our Port of Alexandria facility in the Welding Department. As part of our production process, you'll work closely with FBS Welders, assisting them in cutting, fitting, and welding aluminum bus pipe and cable jumpers.

**Key Responsibilities**

The successful candidate will perform skilled tasks such as reading blueprints, moving machinery, and positioning parts according to layout specifications. They will also operate safety equipment, use safe work habits, and recognize, set up, and operate hand and common power tools.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To excel in this role, you should have a High School diploma or equivalent, experience applying simple hand tools, and the ability to read and understand measuring devices. You must also demonstrate safe work practices, maintain a clean work environment, and be highly motivated with a desire to learn.

**Estimated Salary:** $55,000 - $65,000 per annum based on location and experience.
