Snowflake Technical Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Technical Lead to join our team at Syntricate Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of Snowflake cloud data migration projects from on-premises environments, preferably from RDBMS systems like SQL Server, Oracle, and Teradata.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of Snowflake data models, ELT processes, and stored procedures.
  • Develop expertise in Snowflake advanced concepts, including resource monitors, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, zero-copy cloning, time travel, streams, and tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data migration and implementation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Snowflake-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features and best practices.

Requirements:
  • Must have prior experience with end-to-end implementation of Snowflake cloud data migration from on-premises environments.
  • Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, stored procedures, and Snowpark.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, PySpark, DataStage, Matillion, Informatica, and AWS data storage and management technologies like S3.
  • Proficient in complex SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with data security and access controls, including RBAC policies, dynamic masking, and secured views.
  • SnowPro Core Certified Professional and Snowflake Advance Architect Certified Professional (desirable).
  • Agile development methodologies experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-facing experience.
