Activities Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to join our team at Berkshire Place. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of programs that meet the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure that programs align with individual resident assessments and care plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to residents in participating in programs and activities.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of programs to ensure they meet the needs of our residents.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of recreational and social programs for older adults.
