Key Responsibilities- Manage transportation projects from design through construction, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Lead and mentor staff, contributing to internal professional development and training to technical engineering teams.
- Collaborate with other disciplines, including planning, landscape, and data, to deliver sustainable transportation projects.
- Prepare schedules, budgets, and scopes of services for projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Support regional leaders in business development, identifying opportunities to enhance Alta's position in the marketplace.
- 12+ years of experience as a Transportation Engineer in a consulting environment or public entity.
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with 3+ years of managing staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or TE (Traffic Engineer) licensure.
- Experience in active, non-motorized transportation, with a detailed understanding of project management principles, methods, and techniques.
- A flexible, hybrid work schedule with most employees working from home three days per week.
- A competitive compensation package, with a pay range of $115,000-$170,000 annually.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
