Job Title: Quality Engineer Supply Chain

Pilatus Aircraft is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer Supply Chain to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of supplies from North American suppliers, in line with Pilatus contractual agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough audits and periodic reviews of supplier operations to ensure compliance with Pilatus standards
  • Actively monitor, analyze, and resolve supplier quality issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions
  • Manage risk assessments and evaluations of supplier capabilities to anticipate and mitigate potential issues
  • Approve and renew qualifications for aerospace suppliers, maintaining Pilatus standards
  • Develop and sustain strong, productive relationships with suppliers to enhance communication and collaboration
  • Facilitate ongoing supplier development tasks and support suppliers in achieving compliance with Pilatus quality requirements
  • Implement supply chain strategies, contribute to process improvements, and participate in special projects to optimize operations
Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or equivalent training and experience
  • 5 years of experience in the aircraft industry, preferably within supplier quality management
  • Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally (~15%), at times on short notice
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, capable of interacting effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks
  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

The salary range for this position is $72,685 - 98,125 per year depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Pilatus' new 118,000 square foot facility is custom-designed to conduct aircraft interior and exterior completions for all PC-12 NGX and PC-24 aircraft delivering to North and South America.
