Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Department Director to lead our Imaging Services team at Piedmont Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing all administrative and financial activities related to the efficient operation of Imaging Services, providing resource management for support activities in all ancillary imaging cost centers, and ensuring that departmental operations meet established criteria and standards set forth by regulatory and other accreditation bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage daily departmental operations of all imaging departments.
  • Develop and manage budget for all cost centers.
  • Coordinate and manage all materials management functions.
  • Manage all support and technical personnel.
  • Manage costs.
  • Provide leadership of personnel through guidance, feedback, and delegation.
  • Ensure that departmental operations meet established criteria and standards set forth by regulatory and other accreditation bodies.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Radiology, Business Management, Health Science, Finance, or a related field, and a minimum of seven years of hospital technical radiology experience, including three years of leadership experience. You must also be ARRT or ARDMS or NMTCB registered. A Master's degree is preferred, and a thorough knowledge of all areas of Radiology is essential. You must be self-motivated with the ability to direct and manage a diverse group of employees. A Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) certification by the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) is preferred.
