About the Opportunity

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois Chicago is seeking highly qualified candidates for a Faculty Position in Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Hospitalist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of neonatology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care services in the NICU, including medical and surgical care, as well as education and support for families
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring of residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to scholarly activity, including research, publication, and presentation of findings
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school or foreign equivalent medical degree
  • Unrestricted Illinois license to practice medicine or Illinois license eligible
  • Board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics
