About This Role

As a Neonatal Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to newborns in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, monitoring, and managing neonates, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

Salary: $2,215.43 / week

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Job Type: Travel Nursing

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 day(s)/week

Responsibilities
  1. Provide specialized nursing care to newborns in NICUs or Neonatal settings.
  2. Assess neonates' health status, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families.
  4. Perform neonatal assessments, including developmental screenings and feeding evaluations, to ensure optimal growth and development.
  5. Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues for a smooth transition to home care.
Required Qualifications

Education: Current RN license

Certifications: BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)

Experience: Two years of recent Neonatal RN experience

Skills: Strong communication and adaptability skills
